Lester Calhoun Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lester Calhoun in Tomahawk, Wisconsin, born in Prestonsburg, Kentucky, who passed away on March 7, 2022 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ershel Calhoun and Mabel Calhoun (Boggs); his siblings, Laura Shepherd, Verva McCorkle, Taylor and Thomas Calhoun; and his son-in-law David Gardner.
He is survived by: his wife Katherine Shepherd; his daughters, Sandy Mayhew (Duane) of St. Germain and Vicky Gardner of Winnsboro, TX; his grandchildren, Leslie Davis (Tyler), Melvin Keplinger IV, Katie Gardner and Will Gardner; and his siblings, Verline Nichols, Birdie Wolfe (Ray), Pat Whitaker, Jessica Calhoun and Johnny Calhoun (Teresa).
