Mary Hilgendorf Zahringer Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Hilgendorf Zahringer of Tomahawk, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 9, 2025 at the age of 87. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cornelius Swan (Casey) and Mary Swan (Dirkx); her former husband Darwin Hilgendorf; her siblings, Pete, John Swan, Frances Mabee and Agnes Bernhardt; her daughter-in-law Beth Hilgendorf; and her siblings-in-law, Bettie Swan and Jim Mabee.
She is survived by: her sons, Joseph and Brian; her grandchildren, Kacey Olson (Keegan), Jamie Hallas (Nick), Dan Hilgendorf (Tracy), Wendi Latzig, Rick Hilgendorf (Brittany), Lynn Moe (Tyler) and Steve Phillips; her great grandchildren, Carter, Laila, Levi Olson, Erustus, Torah, Isaiah, Faith, Eliana, Ethan Hallas, Darwin, Brooks Hilgendorf, Ronin Hilgendorf, Tucker, Ryan Moe, Isabele and Isaac Latzig; her husband Joe Zahringer; her sons, Joe Hilgendorf (Pam) and Arthur Hilgendorf (Lisa); her siblings, Bernadine Vandervest and Eugene Swan (Ginny); and her sister-in-law Corinne Swan (Pete). She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (320 E Washington Ave, Tomahawk, WI 54487). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, November 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the St. Augustine Catholic Cemetery (Harrison, WI 54487).
