He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph LaNou and Gunda LaNou (Hagen); his wife Dorothy "Dottie" Bentley; and his son-in-law Dan Baus. He is survived by: his children, Gene LaNou (Sue) of Rockford, Bob "Rudy" LaNou (Patti) of Tomahawk and Dawn Baus of Tomahawk; and his grandchildren, Nicole DeBruler, Troy LaNou, Robert LaNou, Jed Baus, Beth Connaway, Gretchen Moore, Jenna Meal and Shannon LaNou.
