He was predeceased by: his father David Whalen; his stepfather Adolph Sweek; and his niece Kristina Morse. He is survived by: his wife Liz; his daughter Courtney Tessmer (Kyle); his granddaughters, Lillie and Charlotte Tessmer of Weston; his mother Virginia Fran Sweek; and his siblings, Daniel Whalen (Susan) of Brownfield, ME, Antonette Whalen (Greg), Micky Whalen (Jean), Irma and Marion Kohl (Rick). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
To protect the health of friends and family during the Covid 19 pandemic, there will be no public visitation at this time.
