She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Schoone and Cecelia Schoone (Zuiker); her husband Theodore W. Amelse; and her siblings, Raymond Schoone and Annette Daigle-Stewart.
She is survived by: her children, Ruth Ann Anderson (Cliff) of Okeechobee, Chris Towle (Dan) of Tomahawk, Mary Kimball (John) of Albany, Lucy Berndt (Jim) of Rice Lake, Loretta Wanta (Dale) of Tomahawk, Dick Amelse (Jeannie) of Mosinee, Bill Amelse (Bobbi) of Reedsburg and Ed Amelse (Kelly) of Palatine, Illinois.; her siblings, Pete Schoone (Kay), Lawrence Schoone (Ruby), Jerry Schoone (Judy), Jake Schoone (Jackie), Jean VanStrydonk, Mary VanRyen (Jack), Corrinne Swan and Cecelia Rudolph (Ted); and her sisters-in-law, Dede Amelse and Johanna Amelse. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren; 48 great grandchildren.
