He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond J. and Helen Michalski (Krawczykowski); his brother Tom Michalski; his aunt Rose; and his uncle Leonard Lassa.

He is survived by: his close friend Karen Egolf; his stepdaughter Danielle Egolf; his stepgrandchildren, Lachlan and Wolfgang; and his brother Len Michalski.
