She was predeceased by: her husband Jeff Achterhof; her parents, Harvey Meide and Hilda Van Der Meide; her brothers, Verlyn and Leroy; and her sister-in-law Carol Van Der Meide.

She is survived by: her sons, Drew (Colleen), Blake (Valerie) and Kyle; her grandchildren, Riley, Dylan, Lennon and Graysen; her brother Ron Van Der Meide; and her brothers-in-law, Doug Achterhof (Gail) and Russ Achterhof. She is also survived by five nieces and nephews.
