He was predeceased by: his wife Joan; his son John; and his sister Susan. He is survived by: his children, Jim, Bob, Carol and Meg; his grandchildren, Richie Lampe (Mallory), Theresa Piquette (Greg) and Mitch Hansen (Halley); and his siblings, Peter, Nancy (Brissee), Peggy (Garness) and Daniel. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gunderson Fitchburg Funeral & Cremation Care (2950 Chapel Valley Rd, Fitchburg, WI 53711). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The military honors was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
