It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John R. Garrity (Viola, Wisconsin), who passed away on May 25, 2019, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Garrity and Florence Garrity (Bliss); his son Derek Spanjer; his son-in-law Jeff Strait; his siblings, Kenneth (Mary), Dean Garrity, Steve Garrity and Kathy Garrity; and his brothers-in-law, Roger Preuss and Ronald Johnsrud.
He is survived by: his former wife Ramona Bass; his wife Karen La Coste; his children, Shelley Strait, Lisa Clements (Mike), Shannon Garrity (Troy De Pold), Chan Wood, Summer Shaw (Jeff) and Ray Wood (Barbara); and his siblings, William Garrity (Sharon), Alice Preuss and Janice Johnsrud. He is also survived by nine Grandchildren, seventeen Great Grandchildren.
