She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Roy Hallings and Elizabeth Hallings; her husband Arthur R. Askue; her children, David Askue (Susan) and Diane Kortsch (Jeff); her grandchildren, Laurel Askue, Lily Sitero (Chuck), Nova Askue-Coffey (Nick), Kate Askue (Adam Respotnik) and Rebecca Dora Greenfield; and her great grandchildren, Landen and Madeline Respotnik.
