He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hein and Ardis Hein (Kegler); and his brother Steven. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Schmitt; his daughters, Amy Campbell (Shawn) of Cottage Grove and Tori Coulson (Tim) of Marshall; his grandchildren, Braydon, Ashlyn, Oliver and Leo; and his sisters, Janice Grunewald of Madison, Joy Fossum (David) and Julie Tredinnick (Ed) of Onalaska. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be made to the National Wildlife Federation in Dan's memory.
