He was predeceased by: his child Jim Spencer (Kris) of Waukesha; and his wife Margaret B.. He is survived by: his parents, Robert Spencer and Mary Spencer; his children, John Spencer (Eileen "Gig") of Hemet, CA, Linda Galko (Don) of Oconomowoc and Mark Spencer (Arlene) of Waukesha; his grandchildren, Brian Spencer (Jen), Michael Spencer (Katie), Andrew Spencer, Robert Spencer (Nicky), Jeff Spencer (Jorden), Korina Vierela (Rob), Karl Galko, Kraig Galko (Jenna), Kurt Spencer and Dustin Spencer (Taylor); his great grandchildren, Matthew Spencer, Anna Rose Spencer, Ruby Spencer, Henry Spencer, Valerie Galko, Kadence Spencer, Natalie Spencer, Lillian Spencer and Euan Spencer; and his sister Janet Pierangelino of Plymouth, MI. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made out to Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church in Alan's name.
