She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Schwinn and Edythe Schwinn (Buer); and her husband Robert "Bob" Yakel. She is survived by: her children, Lynda Baumann (Mike) of Waukesha and Robert Scott Yakel (Jeanne) of Platteville, CO; her grandchildren, Amie Humbert (Jay), Ashley Steinbrecher (Daniel), Michelle Haines (Christopher) and Technical Sergeant USAF Nikolaus (Talia) Yakel; and her great grandchildren, James, William, Cole, Ellie, Hadley, Beckham and Cody.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Corpus Christi Parish - St. Mary (225 S Hartwell Ave, Waukesha, WI 53186). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Corpus Christi Parish-St. Mary Church (225 S Hartwell Ave, Waukesha, WI 53186).
