She is survived by: her daughter Diana Bauer (Curt); her granddaughters, Christina Gomez (Alexander) and Sonja Bauer; and her husband Heinrich.

Those mittens she made were donated to children at local schools, distributed through her Mitten Ministry at Fox River Christian Church with her "mitten lady friends", and gifted to the little ones of family friends.
