He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles and Bernice; his brother Tom; his godmother Ethel; and his friend Ruth.

He is survived by : his wife Sue; his children, Gayle Haack, Adam Haack (Sarah), Lukas Haack (Rachel) and Julia Jourdan (Christopher); his grandchildren, Zachary James, Marissa Rose, Charles Dean, Angelique Elle, Drew Verity, Kai Jack and Judah Roger; and his siblings, Barbara, Jean and John. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
