He was predeceased by : his child Jodie Gentz (David); his wife Judy; his brothers, George and Glenn; and his parents, John W. and Harriet.

He is survived by : his daughter Julie Allen; his grandsons, Timothy and Matthew Peplinski; his sibling Chris Trollinger (late Mike); his sister-in-law Eileen (Irene Valentine); his grandsons, Tim and Matt; his children, Corey, Lilly, Clare, Emma Johnsen, Kimberly and Rob Erwin; and his grandchildren, Westin and Madison Erwin.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 31st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Parish - Waukesha (225 S Hartwell Ave, Waukesha, WI 53186). A Mass will be held on Friday, May 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
