Roberto Medina Garcia July 21, 1951 — September 7, 2023 Waukesha Our beloved father, ROBERTO MEDINA GARCIA, of Waukesha, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully in his home on Thursday, September 7, 2023. He was born in Waukesha, WI on July 21, 1951 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital as the fifth child of Sipriano and Maria Guadalupe (Medina) Garcia. He was baptized as a Catholic at the Church of Saint Mary's in Pewaukee, WI on November 11, 1951. Robert spent most of his career working as a sandblaster at General Castings Corporation in Waukesha. He was a life member at Saint Joseph Catholic Church and a lifelong Waukesha resident. Robert was an avid Dallas Cowboys football fan and followed the Dallas Mavericks basketball team too. Most people remember him for his outstanding dancing skills and love of Mexican food. He never met a stranger and family gatherings were most dear to his heart. He spent his free time admiring antique cars, playing word searches, watching old Western shows, and spending time with his family and friends.
Robert met and fell in love with Jean and were married at Trinity Lutheran Church in Waukesha on April 19, 1975, then went on to have four loving children, Aleesha (Richard) Garcia-Rodriguez, Nicholas (Rachel) Garcia, Robert (Missy) Garcia, and Michelle Garcia. He was the proud grandfather of 9 beautiful grandchildren, Ashley, Jeffrey, Sophie, Reid, Barrett, Elaina and Lorelai, plus 3 great-grandchildren. He is survived by his brothers, Jose, Albert and Lee, sisters Janie and Linda, along with many cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Robert was proceeded in death by both parents, his older sister, Lily, and two grandchildren, Michael and Haley.

The family asks that monetary donations to be made to the Garcia family instead of flowers or other gifts.
