Rosemary Hillig Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rosemary Hillig of Waumandee, Wisconsin, born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 13, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Zwisler and Marie Zwisler (Burke); her husband John Adam Hillig; and her siblings, Charles Zwisler, Jimmy Zwisler and Ann Marie McCann.

She is survived by: her children, Jenny Ellis (Jim) of Waumandee, John Anthony Hillig of Fairbanks, Marie Brenner (Gary) of Durand, Bridget Liska (Raymond) of Hillsboro, Benedict Hillig (Geraldine) of Alma, Nora Burkard of Waumandee, Michele Chilson (Mark) of Durand and Noel Bragger (Josef) of Independence. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

The family asks that memorials be directed to the St. Boniface Catholic School.
