It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Jeannine Crahen of Waunakee, Wisconsin, born in Madison, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 22, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roman Miller and Mary Miller (Severson); her husband Bob; and her daughter Marcy. She is survived by: her children, Joan Saarnio (Leo) of Waunakee, Allen Crahen (Chris) of Waunakee, Sherri (Mike Roeder) of University Heights, OH, Patrick Crahen (Cathy) of Waunakee and Becky Kielley (Rick) of Sun Prairie; her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Michelle, Jennifer, Catelyn and Cameron; her great grandchildren, Chloe, Easton and Natalia; her stepgrandchildren, Amy and Jason; and her siblings, Mark Miller (Terry Sizer) of Madison, WI and Rosemary Fernette of Prairie du Chien, WI. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Jeannine was active in the American Legion Auxiliary as well as numerous volunteer activities including driving for the RSVP program and volunteering at St. John's Church.

Jeannine agreed to have her brain donated to the UW Brain Organ program to further alzheimer's research.
