He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harold Pohl and Edna Pohl (Lutz); his wife Lila Lee; his sons, Mark Pohl (Hélène) of Ogdensburg, David Pohl (Mary) of Waupaca and Douglas Pohl (Stephanie) of Waupaca; his grandchildren, Samuel Pohl of Milwaukee, Melissa Pohl of Portage, Sarah Elliott (Steven) of Appleton and Nora Pohl (Regina) of Fort Collins; his great grandchildren, Lachlan Elliott, Ruby Young and Corah Young; his sister Lila Mathwich (Dale) of Sun Prairie; and his brother-in-law Gordon Lee of Scandinavia.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Allen's church, Trinity Lutheran of Waupaca.
