She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Hurlbut and Elizabeth "Beth" Hurlbut (Swan); her husband Bob Kessler; and her brothers, Ken, Dave and Rick Hurlbut.
She is survived by: her children, Scott Kessler (Renee) of Kenosha, Lynn Nimmer (Robert) of New Berlin and Dawn Thomas (Christopher) of New Berlin; her grandchildren, Jason (Kris), Alex (Matt), Ryan (Katelyn), Tayler (Derek), Stephanie (Jon), Rachel (Ryan), Mitch (Jesus), Allie (Kevin) and Matt (Kacee); her great grandchildren, Abbie, Jillian, Natalie, Mason, Gavin, Noah and Charlotte; her sister Shirley Newby (Earl) of Kenosha; and her sister-in-law Carolyn Zuhse of Shawano. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established in Betty's name.
