He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Griswold and Gertrude Griswold (Albert); his son Jeremy Portmann; his sisters, Eileen Boe and Amy Nicholas; and his pets, Sassy, Danny, Munchie and Trouble.
He is survived by: his wife Jackie Marta-Griswold; his daughters, Dawn Romportl (Rob) of Menasha, Tracey Plumleigh (Charlie), Jennie Miller of Menasha and Kerri Nicks (Kevin); his daughter-in-law Lisa Portmann of Neenah; his grandchildren, Richard, Justin Romportl, Sydnie Jacob (Cody), Sam and Maddie Miller; his siblings, Judy Fowler of Neenah, Marcia Reinhardt (Jim) of Neenah, Russell Griswold of Milwaukee and Lenora Cherney (Jim); and his pets, Otis and Gizmo. He is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Waupaca Humane Society.
