She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Berg and Hildegarde Berg (Zitke); her husband Wallace Degele; and her brother Theodore Berg. She is survived by: her brother Edmund Berg (Gwen) of Waupaca. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Waupaca.
