He is survived by: his sons-in-law, Monte, Bret and Kurt; his wife Virginia "Ginny" Leean (Floor); his daughters, Dawn Johanknecht (Monte), Miriam Leean-Rodenz (Bret) and Jana Swenson (Kurt); his grandchildren, Jenna, Brooklyn, Marisol, Danica, Matthew, Catelyn and Jonathan; his siblings, Jean Melby (Leean), Connie (Leean), John Seraphine, Darleen (Leean) and Randy Armstrong; and his uncle Joe.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in his name.
