Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Josephine Teresa Giacalone of Waupaca, Wisconsin, born in Windsor, Ontario, who passed away at the age of 97, on April 16, 2024. She was predeceased by : her parents, Salvatore LaRosa and Carmela LaRosa (Cerniglia); her husband John Giacalone; her sons, Peter and Robert; and her sisters, Mary Ravanello, Lucy Glinsky and Tessie Costa.

She is survived by : her sons, Rich Giacalone (Theresa) of Grand Haven, MI, Vic Giacalone (Vicky) of Waupaca and Willy Giacalone of Waupaca; and her granddaughters, Michelle Lara of Wausaukee and Linda Giacalone of Naples, FL. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, with 2 more great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church (N2845 Shadow Rd, Waupaca, WI 54981). A rosary was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
