Thompson (Waupaca, Wisconsin), born in Scandinavia, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 9, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Thompson and Gladys Thompson (Sodersten); his wife Lois Jenson; his sister Lulu Tesch; and his siblings-in-law, Herb Tesch, Robert Raimann, Vern Oehlke, James Swenson, Jean Oehlke, Donna Swenson and Joyce Jenson.
He is survived by: his children, Ted Thompson (Julie) of Waupaca, Tim Thompson (Kathy) of West Salem, Tom "Bomber" Thompson of Waupaca, Tami Hansen (Greg) of Green Bay, Troy Thompson (Ken Kamrowski) of Henderson, NV and Tricia Deuman (Jerry) of Waupaca; his grandchildren, Erin Podvin (Joshua) of Athens, GA, Lindsey Slack (Chris) of Roswell, Samantha Percoski (William) of Colorado Springs, CO, Seth Deuman and Brady Deuman (Brogan) of Waupaca; his great grandchildren, Henry, Sam, George Slack, Amos, Charlie Podvin and Lou Percoski; his sister Mona Raimann of Oshkosh, WI; and his brothers-in-law, Reuben Jenson (Jane) and Herbert Jenson of Waupaca. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated for the Waupaca Fire Dept. or Trinity Lutheran Church in the name of Leland Thompson.
