He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Schultz and Lois Schultz (Runge); his wife Mary Ellen; and his siblings, John Schultz and Mary Lou Schultz.

He is survived by: his children, Frances of Middleton, WI, Mark, Lois (Lowie), Merrill and Chris; his granddaughters, Claire and Grace; and his sister Jane Barta (Tom) of Cedarburg, WI..
