It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Irene Rasmussen of Waupaca, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 13, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Esther Sherman (Harroun) and Burton Sherman; her husband Arnold Rasmussen; her daughters, Helen Heise (Arnie) of New London and Bonnie Lindsay (Larry) of Mondovi; her grandchildren, Shari VanOrnum (Scott) of Jackson, Amy Schraufnagel (Mike) of Green Bay, Dan Heise (Jenny) of New London, Don Heise (Jenny) of Weyauwega, Tammy Denk (Mark) of Mondovi, Jim Lindsay (Tammy) of Boyd and John Lindsay (Tasha) of Fountain Hills, Arizona; her great grandchildren, Lauren VanOrnum of Jackson, Parker, Kylie Heise of New London, Bailey Heise, Aida Zeinert of Weyauwega, Ann, Brad, Casey Denk of Mondovi, Taylor, Levi Lindsay of Boyd and Jackson Lindsay of Fountain Hills, Arizona; and her brother Leon Sherman (Dalyn) of Canyon Lake, California..
Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Rasmussen; her sister, Harriet Smith of Bozeman, Montana and her brother, Lyle Sherman of Bozeman, Montana; Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private memorial service will be held for immediate family with burial following at the First Belmont Cemetery in Almond, Wisconsin. (Blaine) at a later date. The family would like to extend a special Thank You to Park Vista, the Legacy and entire staff, Dr. Wenberg and Hospice for the compassionate care while Mom was in their care, especially during this Covid-19 pandemic.
