She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Frey and Genevieve Frey (Syzdek); her husband Edward McCardell; her son Mark McCardell; her son-in-law Donald DeMeuse; and her sister Alice Bartello.
She is survived by: her children, Mae Lauritzen (Thomas), Maureen Pettingill (Quintin), Marianne DeMeuse, Julie Kubik (Brent), Michael McCardell (Amy), Matthew McCardell, Martin McCardell, Edward McCardell (Tammie) and Sean McCardell (Shawn); her grandchildren, Lisa Lamb, Kelly Lauritzen, Emily Pittsley, Molly Post, Laura Erbrecht, Jill White, Katherine Steuters, Charlie Kubik, Jennifer, Ryan, Madison, Sean, Kegan, Jack, Colin, Dylan, Patrick, Edward Jr., Abigail and Lucy McCardell; her sisters, Louise Sutton and Mildred Cheval; and her sisters-in-law, Dolores McCardell and Carolyn Lambert. She is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren.
