It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Dieck of Waupaca, Wisconsin, born in Waukegan, Illinois, who passed away on September 27, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Dieck and Dorothy Dieck (Dobbins); his spouse Kay Lia; and his sister Maureen Linde. He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Dave Petersen (Chris), Dave Linde and Linda Lia; his cousins, James Dieck (Gretta), G. Michael Dieck (Kathryn), Daniel Dieck (Barbara), Kenneth Dieck (Ann) and Susan DeThorne (Michael); and his sibling's children, Paul Linde (Shannon), Beth Castleman (Justin), Jeff Petersen (Kristin), Steve Petersen (Kirstie), Tony Lia, Bart Lia (Beth), Todd Lia, Michelle Ellingson (Tom) and Kris Poredos (Randy).
A committal service will be held privately at Southern Wisconsin Veteran's Memorial Cemetery due to the current health pandemic.
