He was predeceased by: his parents, William Jaecks and Lottie Jaecks Szalewski; and his siblings, David, Robert Jaecks and Susan Finney.

He is survived by: his siblings, Sandra Koridyak (Jaecks), Ralph Jaecks and Charlene Byrne (Jaecks). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
