He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Hopp and Hattie Vande Kolk Hopp; his former wife Junice Kwakkel; and his siblings, Bert Hopp, Lila Buwalda, Marion Beekman, Gladys Schaalma and Helen Vande Zande.
He is survived by: his wife Annice Hopp of Waupun; his daughters, Karen Giebink (David) of Pardeeville and Christine Scheuers (John) of Randolph; his grandchildren, Jennifer Giebink, Katherine King (Ben), Mathew Scheuers (Amy), Steven Scheuers, Nathanael Scheuers (Danielle) and Elisabeth Sherwood (Colton); his great grandchildren, Levi, Ava, Isaac, Austin and Taylor; his sister Millie Armga of Waupun; and his stepchildren, Dale Schouten (Chris), Ronald Schouten, Beverly Yunto (Jerald), Kathy Muckerheide, Faye Schouten and Debra Heller (Jerry). He is also survived by several step-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
