It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Markowski-Hintze (Wausau, Wisconsin), who passed away on May 12, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Leo Markowski and Victoria Markowski (Spal); and her brothers-in-law, Ronald Cardinal, Lawrence Wink, Sr. and House.

She is survived by : her former life partners, Eugene Smazal (Jack) and Donald Hintze; her children, Betty Smazal of Marshfield, Kelly Svboda (Mike) of Marshfield and Kenneth Gumz; her sisters, MaryAnn Cardinal, Delores Wink and Linda Barna (John); and her pet Little. She is also survived by six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
