He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Dehnke and Adela Dehnke; his wife Lois Schave; his son Jeff; and his friend Peggy Dehnke.

He is survived by: his children, Steve Dehnke, Jay Dehnke (Jacqueline), John Dehnke (Lynette), Lynn Maszk (Dale) and Julie Woods (Mike Hamilton). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
