He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Simone Marie Chapman; and his brothers-in-law, Dick LaPean and Skip Skrobot. He is survived by: his children, Kris Chapman (Brad) and Mike Simon (Amy); his grandchildren, Hayley, Payton Chapman, Emily and Drew Simon; his siblings, Sue Ellen LaPean, John Simon (Sherry), Linda Vojtasko (Mike), Charlie Simon (Sue), Jim Simon, Reed Simon (Chris) and Gail Simon-Cass (Steve); and his sister-in-law Deb Skrobot. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and their children.
In lieu of flowers, any monetary donations made to the family will be used toward an organization that the family will be choosing at a later date.
