She was predeceased by: her parents, William Piehl and Alice Piehl (Novitzke); her children, Mary Elizabeth, Richard and Kevin; her granddaughter Aarian Range; her brothers, Billy Piehl, Tim Piehl, Terry Piehl and Chris Piehl; and her siblings-in-law, Shirley Piehl (Tim), Carol Pijan (Leonard Jr), Barbara Russ (Harold), Peggy Pijan (David), Fritz Kimball (Polly), Harold Russ (Barbara) and Joseph Brisch (Susan).
She is survived by: her spouse Navy; her son James Pijan (Andrea); her grandchildren, Alan, Dallas Girard, Korbin and Tyler (LaDonna); her great grandchildren, Lumen, Tennley and Aurora; and her siblings, Polly Kimball, Steve Piehl (Mary), Alice Piehl, Nancy Pijan, Leonard Jr., Brenda Pijan, Susan Brisch and David Pijan. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 9:30 AM. A rosary was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 6:45 PM at the Sixth Street Funeral Home. A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Michael Catholic Church (611 Stark St, Wausau, WI 54403).
