It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arthur W. Smeester (Wausaukee, Wisconsin), born in Iron Mountain, Michigan, who passed away on August 20, 2019, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Smeester and Ruth Smeester (Olson); his wife Shirley Smeester; his sons-in-law, Michael Hoy and Carl Kampmeier; and his sister Ruth Ann.
He is survived by: his children, Bruce Smeester of Escanaba, Linnea Hoy of Penn Valley, CA and Barbara Kampmeier of Fitchburg, WI; his grandchildren, Craig Smeester (Myra) and Krissy Gascon (Rick); his great grandchild Brynlee; and his close friend Debra Wilson.
