It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Steven Paul Schimelpfenig of Wautoma, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 26, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marlin Schimelpfenig and Doreen Schimelpfenig; his brothers, Marlin Schimelpfenig (Mick), Ralph Schimelpfenig and Mike Martinez; and his grandchild Wrenlee Schimelpfenig.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Reed of Indianapolis; his children, Jason, Heather Livingston (Mike Lenarduzzi), Brandon Schimelpfenig (Iraq), Adam (Kaylyn) and Clinton (Heather); his grandchildren, Dylan Schimelpfenig, Jason Schimelpfenig Jr., Amber Smith, Jenna Smith, Hannah Smith, Marlin Schimelpfenig, Jolynn Schimelpfenig, Robyn Schimelpfenig and Levi Schimelpfenig; his stepgrandchildren, Paxton and Lexi; and his sisters, Donna, Marlene Mirr (John Mark) and Susan Loeffler (Jay Hartz). He is also survived by cousins, nephews, nieces and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hope Lutheran Church (301 E Mt Morris Ave, Wautoma, WI 54982). The military honors will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Wautoma Union Cemetery.
