Born in St. Paul, MN in 1945, Anne's life was marked by a profound dedication to service, community, and growth. She earned her Master's Degree in Social Work, a field that became not only her career but her calling. Over the course of her distinguished career, Anne served as the Director of Social Services at two major hospitals, as well as leading the Sudden Infant Death Syndrome program at Children's Hospital of WI. Her empathy, leadership, and unwavering commitment to patient care touched countless lives. Colleagues admired her integrity and resilience, and she mentored many young professionals with wisdom and grace.
Family was at the very heart of Anne's life. She was a devoted daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, and her warmth and support were constants to those who knew and loved her. She believed deeply in the importance of staying connected, celebrating milestones large and small, and being there for one another through all seasons of life. Her home was often the gathering place for holidays and special occasions, where laughter, stories, and shared meals brought the family together.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Anne found joy and fulfillment in nature. She was an award winning Master Gardener, sharing her knowledge generously and helping to cultivate both beautiful gardens and strong community ties.
Anne's legacy is one of compassion, dedication, and quiet strength. She leaves behind a loving circle of family, friends, former colleagues, and those fortunate enough to have been on the receiving end of her care.
