It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Granville O'Brien (Wauwatosa, Wisconsin), who passed away on June 27, 2025, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, James Granville is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that James Granville's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his significant other Jean Louise O'Brien. He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Jungbluth (Al), David O'Brien (Heidi Janzen), Peter O'Brien (Anne), Patricia O'Brien-Mullins (Bill Mullins), Mary Jean Alvarez (Ernie) and Thomas O'Brien (Deborah Gomez-Felder).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the San Camillo Chapel - West Residence (10100 W Bluemound Rd, Wauwatosa, WI 53226). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
