He is survived by: his wife Stella C. Mecha; his daughters, Denise Mecha (Oliver Von Stockhausen) and Joan Pagel (Darrel); his granddaughter Alexandra Pagel; and his sister-in-law Mary Ann Mecha (late Albert). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
