He was predeceased by: his parents, Ignatius Sonsalla and Catherine Sonsalla (Woychik); his wife Dorothy Habermeyer; his son David Sonsalla; his sister Bernice Boland (Dick); his nephew Rick; his siblings, John Sonsalla and Beatrice Sonsalla (Jean); his brother-in-law Bill Habermeyer (Phyllis); his nephew Wayne; his siblings-in-law, Emery Habermeyer (Mabel) and Patricia Gebert; his niece Donna; his siblings-in-law, Ruth Bischel (Wayne) and Dorothys; and his pet Tanner.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel Sonsalla of Baraboo, Dean Sonsalla of Baraboo, Diane Foreman (Will) of Otsego, Greg Sonsalla (Joy) of Baraboo and Vicki Harmon (Dale) of Mauston; his daughter-in-law Heather Sonsalla of Merrillan; and his siblings-in-law, Marion Paul of Abbotsford, Melvin Gebert of Medford and Bernice Sonsalla of Independence. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, very dear cousins and many, many friends.
