He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Johansen and Helene Johansen (Cash); his stepfather John Higgins; and his brother John Johansen. He is survived by: his former wife Patricia Brown; his wife Pat Johansen; his sons, Dean Johansen, Tom Johansen (Brooke) and Steve Johansen (Patience); his grandchildren, Dean, Austin, Jake (Nicole), Ashton, Aidan, Avery, Isaiah, Ander, Caleb and Aubrey; his great grandchild Emmalynn; and his siblings, Diana Simes (Jeff), Howard Higgins (Sue) and Pamela Stritzel (Terry). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
