He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Boelkow and Carol Boelkow (Longstaff); his wife Bonnie L. Bittner; his brother Frederick Edward Boelkow Jr. (Katie); and his brother-in-law Donn Wesley Renning.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Boelkow (Colleen) of Hartford, WI, Randy Boelkow (Michele) of Cudahy, WI, Charles Jr. Boelkow (Donna) of Milwaukee, WI and Rebecca Matteson (Michael) of Whitewater, WI; his grandchildren, Jacqueline, Meghan, Matthew, Mitchell, Jacob, Brett, Abigail and Makenna; his sisters, Patricia Renning (Donn) of Tucson, AZ and Nancy Hertel (Morton) of Brookfield, WI; his cousin Donn Renning (Barb) of Madison; and his sister-in-law Katie Boelkow Walker (Fred).
