He was predeceased by: his wife Bonnie Dixon (Nee Wenmen); his parents, Don Sr. and Lucille Dixon; and his sister Diane Kroll (Nee Dixon). He is survived by: his brother Bill (Nancy). He is also survived by 5 children, 12 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren.
