With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Mae Peters (Whitewater, Wisconsin), who passed away on September 11, 2018 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her son Louis Peters; and her siblings, Louise Shaw and Charles Shuman. She is survived by: her husband Stephen Peters; her children, Stephen Peters (Dianne), Janesville, James Peters (Marianne), Richard Peters, Fort Atkinson, Patricia Peters, Waukesha, Charles Peters and Whitewater; her daughter-in-law Cecilia Peters of Albany, OR; and her brothers, Neil Shuman of Escondido, CA, Robert Shuman, San Juan and David Shuman (Lorraine). She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
