She was predeceased by: her parents, Norma Sickafoose (Thorne) and George D. Sickafoose; her brother Robert Sickafoose; and her husbands, Robert Hawes and Frederic Triebold.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Miazga (Bill) and Lawrence Hawes; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Royce (Bryan), Margaret Cherney (Eric), Ben Miazga, Tom Miazga, Ian Fyfe and Nickerson Hawes; her great grandchildren, Ellie, Fritz, Annie and Grace; and her siblings-in-law, Don Triebold (Marge), David Triebold (Laura) and Judy Triebold.
