She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Schopen and Judy Schopen (Christenson); her sister Cindy Krueger; and her nephew Terry Krueger. She is survived by: her husband Kelly; her children, Brody and Kendyl Freeman; her sister Tomi Schaitel (David) of Janesville; her brother-in-law Tim Krueger of New London; and her nieces and nephews, Abby Teuscher (Ryan), Chelsea Kuhnke (Tim), Tyler Schaitel (Ashlynn) and Ryan Krueger (Caroline).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the family for a scholarship to be established in Jona's name.
