He was predeceased by: his parents, James Green and Henrietta Green (Krause); his wife Ethel Britzman; his stepbrother John Perry; his grandson Zachary Jensen; his nephew Alan Hoffman; and his sister-in-law Loretta Fuchs.
He is survived by: his daughters, Julie Schmeling (Dale), Connie Meyer (Jim Jorgenson) and Shari DeWind (Pete); his grandchildren, Taylor Siebert (Bobby), Jennifer Schmeling (William Meerbott), David Meyer (Lauren), Meredith Meyer, Claire and Alyssa DeWind; his great grandchildren, Finn Siebert, Zion and Ruby Meyer; his nephews, Keith Hoffman (Sandy) and Brian Hoffman (Angela) of Jefferson; his niece-in-law Christine Wahlquist (Ron) of Connecticut; his brother-in-law Bill Fuchs of Jefferson; his cousin Donna Taylor (Jack) of Idaho; and his friend Karen Mepham of Fort Atkinson.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, private graveside services at Evergreen Cemetery will be held for immediate family only.
