John W. Cepek Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John W. Cepek of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 11, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilferd Cepek and Viola Cepek (Johnson); his granddaughter Elli Walleser; his sister Doris Krebsbach; his brothers-in-law, Dave Benkowski and Dave Krebsbach; and his in-laws, Ed and Helen Shebelski.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Cepek of Paul's Catholic Church; his children, David Cepek (Liz), Kris Walleser (Bob), Mary Lawrence (Dave), Sara McIntire (Mike) and Jodi Renwick (Matt); his grandchildren, Olivia, Jed, Molly, Sophie, Gus, Cal, Finn and Violet; his sister Judy Benkowski; and his siblings-in-law, Dick Shebelski (Charlene) and Jeanne Smerda (Ron). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM and on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ritchay Funeral Home (1950 12th St S, Wisconsin Rapids, WI 54494). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church (750 10th Ave S, Wisconsin Rapids, WI 54495).
